Campsite reservations must be made online or over the phone by calling 1-888-ONT-PARK (668-7275) daily 7am to 9pm EST.

Canoeing
We stop at two popular canoe access points, Canoe Lake (Portage Store) and Lake Opeongo (Algonquin Outfitters). Outfitters offer everything from canoe and kayak rentals to all-inclusive packages. Stops at Algonquin Outfitters Oxtongue Base and Algonquin Bound are available upon request.

Hiking
Highland Backpacking Trail (19 & 35 km loops) is easily accessible via our Lake of Two Rivers stop. Short 800m trail leads to Mew Lake office, where backcountry permits can be picked up. The Western Uplands Backpacking Trail (32, 56 and 88 km loops) can be accesed via West Gate stop, where permits are available (trailhead is 2km down the road)

Camping
The bus will stop at two campgrounds, Lake of Two Rivers and Pog Lake. Short trail connects Lake of Two Rivers with Mew Lake Campground. These campgrounds are fully serviced with showers, flush toilets and laundry. A general store is located at Lake of Two Rivers Campground, selling groceries and some camping supplies. Bike rentals are also available.

Lodging
A number of roofed stay options are accessible through Parkbus stop in the Oxtongue area. The Wolfden Bunkhouse provides 10% discount for Parkbus passengers, while Blue Spruce Resort , Algonquin Inn and Algonquin Bound Inn are also popular options. If you wish to stay at one of three luxury lodges inside Algonquin, you can arrange to be picked up from one of Parkbus stops.
