Killarney is a bear country. Store all your food and toiletries locked away in bear-resistant containers or hanged on a tree (bring a rope!). On-demand bear lockers are available at George Lake campground (K2). Read more about bears safety in Ontario at Bear Wise.

Canoeing
In Killarney, George Lake (serviced by Killarney Outfitters) and Bell Lake (Killarney Kanoes) are the two main canoe access points, serviced by corresponding outfitters.

Hiking
Killarney Provincial Park offer some great day hikes that are easily accessible directly from the George Lake Campgrounds. The campground also serves as the trailhead to the famous multi-day La Cloche Silhouette Trail (78km loop, 7-10 days), only recommended for experienced backpackers.

Camping
Campers can be dropped off at George Lake Campground, equipped showers, flush toilets and laundromats. Enjoy a day at the beach, rent a kayak or access different hiking trails right from the campground. Killarney staff will deliver bear-proof food boxes to your campsite upon request.

Lodging
