This beginner and family friendly group camping trip is packed full of activities from our Parkbus Guides and Ontario Parks Staff. You'll enjoy a weekend of workshops, guided group activities and free time at the park. Learn more about the weekend below.

Your Ticket Includes:

  • Coach bus transportation to and from the park
  • Dedicated Parkbus Guides for the full weekend who will be leading workshops, guided hikes and other activities
  • Firewood and kindling for your campsite for two nights
  • Workshops and discovery programming from Ontario Parks.

This trip can accommodate up to 40 (forty) people! You do not have to come as a group or family, this introduction to camping trip is open to our whole Parkbus community, and if you're new here you'll meet great new friends and leave with awesome memories.

We will be camping across 8 (eight) sites at the Maple Campground, each campsite can have up to 6 (six) people in no more than 3 (three) tents. This trip is great to come in as a group or pair! If you want to come alone and meet new people that's no problem, we'll be sending out a survey to pair people up accordingly.

Please indicate at the time of booking if you are a part of a group of 6 that would like to be together on their own site, or if you are part of a pair/trio that will be sharing a tent. This will help us plan for who will be camping at each site!

MEC Home of Camp

We're so pumped to get this trip online, we'll be hosting some free clinics in June to get you ready and meet other people, that are also open to the public, at MEC Toronto Store as a part of their Home of Camp month-long event. We'll have all the details available for you soon, but our guides will be on site to answer all of your camping questions and have some great workshops on tents, gear and packing, and camping cooking!

What is Not Included in This Trip:

For this trip you need to bring your own camping gear, or accessories and food for the weekend.

Tents, sleeping bags etc., are not included but we work with some great partners if you're looking to rent something for your first time out! Give us a shout and we can connect you.
