You'll start your morning at the legendary St. Jacobs Farmers' Market, Canada's largest year-round farmers' market. We're talking over 300 vendors offering everything from artisan cheeses and fresh-baked goods to handcrafted ornaments and one-of-a-kind gifts. This is where you'll find that perfect present you can't get anywhere else (and maybe some maple butter fudge for yourself—we won't judge!).
After you've filled your bags with local treasures, we'll head into the heart of the village for St. Jacobs Sparkles, the community's beloved annual Christmas celebration. Imagine thousands of sparkling lights transforming the historic streets into a winter wonderland. The air fills with festive music from the Waterloo County Carollers, Santa's making his list (and checking it twice!), and the local shops and cafés are dressed to the nines in holiday finery.
