Terms & Conditions of Purchase

Introduction

You are buying tickets from Parkbus Inc. (“Parkbus”). Our mailing address is Parkbus, 192 Spadina Ave., Toronto, ON M5T 2C2, Canada.

Parkbus is a provider of bus services which brings together passengers, bus operators and park agencies. Parkbus is not an operator of buses—transportation services are provided by operators, including Attridge Coach Lines, Inc, Attridge Transportation Inc, Hammond Transportation Inc and International Stage Lines Inc. These Terms & Conditions of Purchase apply to all purchases made through Parkbus and travel provided by Bus Operators, including but not limited to those listed above.

  • Refund policy
Refunds are only granted when a cancellation is requested more than 14 days prior to the scheduled departure. In such cases, a 90% refund will be issued (10% withheld for payment processing fees).
Refunds are not eligible for trips posted with less than 2 weeks to departure dates.
Orders are transferable, meaning that you can change the passenger name up to 48 hours before departure.

Requests for refunds or date changes made less than 14 days before departure will not be honored, except in the case of a last-minute medical emergency that has occurred 48 hours or less from the departure date.

If a medical emergency occurs within 14 days of departure, passengers must fill out a form to request a refund. If the request is approved, a 50% refund will be granted.
  • Medical emergency refunds
If a medical emergency occurs within 14 days of departure, passengers must contact help@parkbus.ca to request a refund.

A valid signed doctor’s note is required within 14 days of a missed trip date. If approved, a 50% refund will be granted. Any doctor’s note provided where you have not been seen within 14 days of the trip date will not be accepted.

Please note that only medical emergencies affecting the passenger listed on the ticket will be considered. Extenuating circumstances may be considered but are not guaranteed. Pre-existing injuries are not classified as medical emergencies.
  • Cancellations by Parkbus

    Weather:
Parkbus trips run rain or shine unless there is an Environment Canada weather warning or a park authority requests cancellation. If Parkbus cancels a trip for weather or safety reasons, passengers will receive a full refund.

    Low ticket sales:
Parkbus reserves the right to cancel trips due to insufficient ticket sales. Passengers will be notified at least three days prior to departure and will receive a full refund.

    General cancellations:
Schedules are not guaranteed and may change without notice. Parkbus will make every effort to reschedule cancelled trips at a later date. If the new trip date does not work for a passenger, a full refund will be issued. We may provide alternate transportation at any time.
  • Important safety notice
You alone are responsible for your safety in the park—many dangers exist, both natural and man-made. If you miss the return bus on any Parkbus trip, you may become stranded in an area with no cellphone reception.

Unless you are on a guided trip, we do not follow up on missing passengers—leave your trip plan with someone who will raise alarm if necessary. If you miss the bus on self-guided trips, you will need to arrange your own transportation home at your own expense.
  • General terms and conditions
Parkbus is not responsible for personal injury or property damage resulting from transportation or activities at destinations. All passengers are responsible for arranging their own stay and ensuring their own safety and security.
  • Sales, discount codes & pricing
Parkbus reserves the right to hold sales on trips, offer flash sales and discount codes, or perform demand-based pricing at any time. Trips purchased outside of these occurrences are not eligible for price adjustments, refunds, or cancellations.

Discount codes used on trips for which they are not valid will be cancelled and refunded with a 10% processing fee withheld. Early bird pricing is only valid during the time of offer and will not be extended outside of said period or applied retroactively if not used at time of purchase.
