About the Role

Join Parkbus as a Bus Guide for our free weekend shuttle connecting downtown Ottawa to Gatineau Park's winter wonderland. You'll be the friendly face ensuring passengers have a safe, smooth, and enjoyable trip to some of the best cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and downhill terrain in the National Capital Region.

Schedule & Compensation

• ‍Days: Saturdays, January 10 - March 21, 2026‍
• Pay: $200 per day

‍

Responsibilities

• Welcome passengers at pickup locations (ByWard Market and Canadian Museum of History)
• Take attendance and ensure all passengers board and disembark safely
• Provide information about Gatineau Park destinations, including Relais Plein Air and Camp Fortune
• Answer passenger questions about trail conditions, rental options, and park amenities
• Deliver a friendly, bilingual experience throughout the trip

Requirements

• Bilingual (French and English) – required
• Enthusiasm for the outdoors and winter recreation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Familiarity with Gatineau Park is an asset
