Blue Mountain - Guitar Trail Experience

Hike a mountainside scored by live acoustic guitar. Someone else drives.
For one Saturday, the Guitar Trail turns Blue Mountain into a walking concert. Musicians are stationed along the climb, a trio session waits at the summit, and panoramic views follow you the whole way up. We run the coach from Toronto, drop you at the base at noon, and get you home. No 400 traffic. No parking. Just the trail and the music.
The Guitar Trail is exactly what it sounds like: you hike up the mountain and the mountain plays for you. Acoustic musicians are stationed along the Guitar Trail, so the climb comes with its own live soundtrack, a new set drifting in every few switchbacks. At the top, Summitview, you settle in for the Summitview Trio Session: an intimate mountaintop performance where the musicians trade songs, stories, and the kind of spontaneous collaborations you only get when three good players are in one room with a view.
We handle the part that usually eats the day. The drive up, the parking, the drive back. Coach bus from our usual Toronto pickup, about two hours each way, and a seat that isn't the driver's

How the day looks

Where does the bus leave from? Our usual downtown Toronto pickup at 34 Asquith Ave — just north of Yonge & Bloor subway station. Full address and a map go out with your booking confirmation. Please arrive 15 minutes early — the bus leaves on time.
What time do we leave and get back? Departure is 9 AM from Toronto; we head home after the last sets, arriving back around 7:30 PM. Exact times are confirmed in your booking email.
How long is the drive? Roughly two hours each way, traffic depending. That's your window for a nap, a playlist, or planning which stage to hit first.
Is the all-access pass really included? Yes. The $99 covers both the round-trip bus and the single ride pass. An unlimited play all day pass is not included, it is an extra cost that can be purchased on site.
Do I need to be a hiker? No. Three of the five stages are right in the village on flat ground. The trail sets on the Village Way trail and up at Summitview involve some walking and elevation, but they're optional — build the day you want. Comfortable shoes are a good call either way.
What should I bring? Layers (the escarpment does its own weather), comfortable walking shoes, a refillable water bottle, and a card for food and drinks — the Summitview Pavilion and the village have food and beverage service. Sunscreen if the day's bright.
What if it rains? The festival runs rain or shine, and so do we. Pack a light rain layer and you'll be fine — some of the best trail sets happen under a bit of cloud.
Is there food? Yes — the village and the Summitview Pavilion both have food and drink. Come hungry; you'll be on your feet.
Can I bring alcohol on the bus? No, you cannot bring alcohol on our trips.
When does it sell out? Bus seats are limited to the coach's capacity, and fall trips move fast. If the date works, grab it.
