Nobody leads the day. The bus drops you off, you do what you like with the time, and you meet it again where it left you.
Flat and short, on even ground, with no climbing and no rush. This is a walk rather than a hike, and you set the pace.
The Chilliwack Mural Festival turns downtown into an outdoor gallery. The murals stay up, so you can come back and see them any time of year. During Mural Fest, the streets become a celebration of art, music, and community. Built to reflect the local community, bring diverse artists to the downtown core, and make it easy for everyone to access art and performances.
It is a party about art, and art comes in lots of forms. There is music, dancing, live shows, and plenty for kids. Visit the vendor booths, talk to the artists, learn about the Chilliwack Community Arts Council, and more.

We drop you back
The bus calls at both pickup points on the way back, so you get off where you got on.
This is our estimated return time, not a guarantee. Traffic can change it and some trips do run late, so please leave yourself some room afterwards rather than booking something tight against it.
Here's a fun one: because you showed up by bus, Chilliwack Tours is treating Parkbus riders to a complimentary guided walking tour. Normally $24.50 a person, yours for nothing. And the timing is perfect: the bus rolls into District 1881 at 2:00 PM, the tour steps off at 2:30 PM, so you've even got time to grab a coffee first.
Your guide is local expert Michael Berger. Self-described "Community Connector," official Mural Festival Partner, and keeper of a 4.9-star Google rating. Over 60-90 leisurely minutes he'll walk you through District 1881's murals from world-renowned artists and spill the stories behind the walls. As he puts it: Historic Walks, Artistic Talks.
From building-sized murals to Stó:lō welcome figures and public sculpture, the art is everywhere downtown, and it's there year-round.

Cancel more than 14 days before departure and you get a 90% refund, with 10% withheld for payment processing. Inside 14 days refunds are not available, except for a medical emergency in the 48 hours before departure, which needs a signed doctor’s note within 14 days of the missed trip and returns 50%. Tickets are transferable: you can change the passenger name up to 48 hours before departure.
If Parkbus cancels a trip, you get a full refund. We decide no later than 48 hours before departure and only on confirmed conditions: the park closed or the park authority asking us to stand down, an evacuation order or alert, an area restriction order, the highway closed, or the trip judged unsafe to run. A forecast is not one of those things, and trips run rain or shine.
