Comfy round-trip coach from Toronto straight to Four Corners Algonquin and back. Toronto pickup around 3:00 PM on Wednesday, August 12. The return leaves Four Corners around 10:30 AM on Thursday, August 13. That's all Parkbus gives, just the ride.

You're here for the peak of the Perseid meteor shower. The busiest nights of the year for shooting stars, when a dark sky can deliver dozens an hour. You'll learn where to look, when the activity peaks, and why some meteors leave glowing trails that hang in the air.
What turns a good stargazing night into an unforgettable one: having someone who actually knows what they're looking at standing right next to you.
Caroline El-Khoury is a University of Toronto-trained astronomer with a degree in Physics and Astronomy. She's conducted pulsar research at ASTRON, the Netherlands Institute for Radio Astronomy, and has spent years turning her love of the night sky into something the rest of us can share. She runs stargazing tours and night-sky workshops across Ontario, and her astrophotography and astronomy content have built a dedicated following online ( @nightsky.adventures ).
On this trip, Caroline is your guide to the night sky. She'll walk you through the constellations, point out planets, explain why the meteors leave those long glowing trails, and help you spot things you'd never notice on your own. If you've ever looked up at a dark sky and thought “I wish I knew what I was seeing,” this is your answer, and she'll have astrophotography tips too, from phone cameras to full setups.
This is camping without the discomfort. Everything is set up before you arrive. You just bring a sleeping bag and warm layers.
You'll sleep in a fully equipped 4-person safari tent , with sleeping arrangements of one king bed and two twin floor mattresses. Each tent comes with solar-powered lighting and a charging station for your phone.
Outside, your campsite has a picnic table, a fire pit, a propane BBQ (we supply the propane), and your own Muskoka chairs. Free firewood is delivered straight to your site. The whole property is designed to minimize light pollution, that's the point.

Cancel more than 14 days before departure and you get a 90% refund, with 10% withheld for payment processing. Inside 14 days refunds are not available, except for a medical emergency in the 48 hours before departure, which needs a signed doctor’s note within 14 days of the missed trip and returns 50%. Tickets are transferable: you can change the passenger name up to 48 hours before departure.
If Parkbus cancels a trip, you get a full refund. We decide no later than 48 hours before departure and only on confirmed conditions: the park closed or the park authority asking us to stand down, an evacuation order or alert, an area restriction order, the highway closed, or the trip judged unsafe to run. A forecast is not one of those things, and trips run rain or shine.
