We put seats on sale one season at a time, and this one is not up yet. Nothing is hidden and there is no list to pay to join. Leave your email and you hear the day the dates open.
Leaving Toronto in the meantime

Nobody leads the day. The bus drops you off, you do what you like with the time, and you meet it again where it left you.
Flat and short, on even ground, with no climbing and no rush. This is a walk rather than a hike, and you set the pace.
The Toronto Zoo is laid out as seven zoogeographic regions, so a walk round it takes you through Africa, the Americas, Indo-Malaya, Australasia, the Eurasia Wilds, the Tundra Trek and the Canadian Domain without leaving Scarborough.
There is a new set of arrivals every summer. This year that includes a baby Masai giraffe, a Bactrian camel calf and river otter pups. Daily Meet the Guardians keeper talks run right across the site, so you can get close to your favourites and hear what makes them tick.
For an extra fee there are Wild Encounters, which are behind the scenes animal experiences, and there is a summer-long Wild Summer of Soccer celebration timed to the beautiful game.
The paths are stroller-friendly, there are restaurants and gift shops, and there are shaded spots to sit down between exhibits. It is a full day and it does not have to be a hard one.

One downtown pickup with several departure and return times, and a drop-off right at the Zoo gates. Get to your stop 15 minutes early.
We pick you up
Near the Bloor-Yonge subway station, in the heart of downtown. Easy to reach on Line 1 or Line 2. Get to your stop 15 minutes early.
We drop you right at the Zoo entrance and collect you from the same place. The bus leaves the Zoo at 1:00 PM, 5:30 PM or 6:30 PM, so you can do a half day or the whole thing.

We drop you back
The bus returns to the same place it left from, so you go home the way you came.
This is our estimated return time, not a guarantee. Traffic can change it and some trips do run late, so please leave yourself some room afterwards rather than booking something tight against it.

Your bus ride and your Zoo admission are two separate tickets. Step one: book your round-trip seat on the Toronto Zoo Express, $5 a seat.

Pickups downtown at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM. Buses leave the Zoo at 1:00 PM, 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.
The 8:30 AM pickup pairs with the 1:00 PM or the 5:30 PM return, and the 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM pickups pair with the 6:30 PM return. Pick the combination that suits your day.
A stroller must fold flat onto a seat. Without a $10 bench it needs to fit in the space in front of your feet.
Look for the Toronto Zoo Express branded buses, with the Zoo's Guardians of the Wild design on the side.
The Toronto Zoo Express runs every Saturday and Sunday, plus Canadian holiday Mondays, from July 4 through Labour Day on September 7.

Catch the bus at Bloor and Yonge and we'll drop you right at the Zoo gates. No transfers, no long transit haul out to the east end.

Cancel more than 14 days before departure and you get a 90% refund, with 10% withheld for payment processing. Inside 14 days refunds are not available, except for a medical emergency in the 48 hours before departure, which needs a signed doctor’s note within 14 days of the missed trip and returns 50%. Tickets are transferable: you can change the passenger name up to 48 hours before departure.
If Parkbus cancels a trip, you get a full refund. We decide no later than 48 hours before departure and only on confirmed conditions: the park closed or the park authority asking us to stand down, an evacuation order or alert, an area restriction order, the highway closed, or the trip judged unsafe to run. A forecast is not one of those things, and trips run rain or shine.
