Winterlit Valentine's Evening: Illuminated Trails
Celebrate Valentine's Day under thousands of twinkling lights. The Winterlit Enchanted Evening transforms Mountsberg Conservation Area into a magical winter escape—two kilometres of illuminated forest trails, fireside lounges, live music, fire performers, and a licensed Glow Bar under the winter sky.
Live performances throughout the evening:
- Benji Crane – Toronto-based singer/songwriter and violinist performing in French and English
- Duke McRae – a human jukebox covering the 1950s to today
- Hayley Verrall – Burlington country singer-songwriter with over 450,000 streams
- Stringing Him Along (Emily Misura) – violinist who's performed with The Who, The Eagles, and appeared in a Drake music video
- Dispatch Talent – roaming fire and light performers

Pick up at 34 Asquith Ave, just north of the Yonge and Bloor Subway stop. We recommend getting there 15 minutes early to make sure you have enough time for the bus.

School Bus: For trips two hours or less, we’ll be using a school bus. Safe, familiar, and perfect for quick rides. Using school buses also helps keep costs lower, so you can save more for your outdoor adventures.
How long are the trails? About two kilometres total across two trails. Flat, accessible, and meant to be enjoyed at your own pace.
What should I wear? Warm layers, waterproof boots with good traction, hat, gloves, scarf. You'll be outdoors for most of the evening.
Is food available? Yes, food is available for purchase. Complimentary hot chocolate is included. The Valentine's Enchanted Evening also features a licensed Glow Bar.
What makes Valentine's Day different? Live music, fire performers, a licensed bar, and candle-making workshops, plus everything the regular Winterlit offers.
Is this good for kids? Absolutely. The fireside lounges, Book Nook, and animal exhibits are family favourites.
How long is the bus ride? About one hour from downtown Toronto.
