A Parkbus guide is with the group for the whole day. You are not expected to know the trail, the route or the plan, and nobody gets left behind.
A few hours of walking on real trail, with uneven ground and some climbing. Roots, rocks and hills, so proper shoes matter. Not a stroll.
After the hiking's done, everyone gathers at Camp Celtic for the Saturday Keynote Dinner. Great food, good company, and stories from the outdoors. The headliner is Kevin Callan, better known to a generation of paddlers as “The Happy Camper.”
Kevin is one of Canada's best known canoeists and writers. He has spent decades in the backcountry, and he tells stories about it that are very funnyr, insight, and stories that are as entertaining as they are meaningful. More than just a talk, it's the kind of evening that leaves you inspired, laughing, and reminded of exactly why we head for the trail.

Walk the Ginebek Miikaans (“Snake Trail”) boardwalk through the traditional territory of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation, at Cape Croker Park. A guided walk through the plants and animals of the escarpment. Your guide shares Anishinaabe history, and how this land has been cared for.
Discover the rugged beauty of the Bruce Peninsula on this guided loop through cedar forests and along the Niagara Escarpment. Highlights include stunning views over Sydney Bay, escarpment lookouts, and some of the Peninsula's most iconic trail landscapes. Intended for experienced hikers only.
Prefer to set your own pace? A smaller self-guided option lets you explore on your own, then meet back up with the group for the Keynote Dinner.

The bus returns to the same place it left from, so you go home the way you came.

Cancel more than 14 days before departure and you get a 90% refund, with 10% withheld for payment processing. Inside 14 days refunds are not available, except for a medical emergency in the 48 hours before departure, which needs a signed doctor’s note within 14 days of the missed trip and returns 50%. Tickets are transferable: you can change the passenger name up to 48 hours before departure.
If Parkbus cancels a trip, you get a full refund. We decide no later than 48 hours before departure and only on confirmed conditions: the park closed or the park authority asking us to stand down, an evacuation order or alert, an area restriction order, the highway closed, or the trip judged unsafe to run. A forecast is not one of those things, and trips run rain or shine.
