Celebrate Mother's Day Among 3 Million Tulips at the TASC Tulip Festival

This Trip Sold Out Quickly Last Year

Three million tulips stretch across 55 acres of Niagara wine country, and you're about to walk through them with Mom.

The TASC Tulip Festival in Niagara-on-the-Lake transforms ordinary Mother's Day plans into something she'll remember. Picture the two of you wandering through endless rows of reds, pinks, yellows, and purples, the spring sun warming your shoulders as you hunt for the perfect blooms to pick together.

Each ticket includes ten tulips to hand-select and bring home, so you'll leave with a bouquet you built side by side.

This isn't a quick photo op. It's 55 acres of rolling colour in the heart of Ontario's wine country, with food vendors serving up snacks and drinks, shaded picnic tables for lingering over conversation, and enough space to wander at whatever pace feels right.

And because we're handling the driving, you can actually enjoy the day. No circling for parking. No watching the clock to beat rush hour home. Just settle into your seat, let the city fall away, and arrive ready to make the kind of memory that outlasts any card or brunch reservation. This is the Mother's Day she deserves.

What's included with my festival admission?

Your admission ticket includes access to all 55 acres of tulip fields plus 10 tulips to hand-pick and take home. Additional tulips can be purchased on-site for $1 each.

How long do we get at the festival?

You'll have plenty of time to explore the fields, pick your tulips, enjoy food and drinks, and take photos. Most visitors spend 1.5–2 hours, but you're welcome to stay longer and take it at your own pace.

What should I wear?

This is a working farm, so dress for the weather and the ground conditions. Closed-toe shoes or boots are a must since it can be muddy, especially after rain. Layers are smart because temperatures can vary throughout the day.

Is the farm wheelchair and stroller accessible?

The farm accommodates wheelchair users, with preferred parking and accessible facilities. Paths between tulip rows can be narrow and uneven, so be prepared for some bumps. Strollers fit but can be tricky to maneuver. Baby carriers work well as an alternative.

Are pets allowed?

Yes! Dogs are welcome as long as they're leashed and well-behaved.

What if it rains?

The festival runs rain or shine. Tulips actually photograph beautifully in the rain, and many visitors enjoy the quieter atmosphere on drizzly days. Just dress appropriately and bring rain gear.

Is there food available?

Yes, food vendors and a concession stand offer snacks, drinks, and refreshments. Picnic tables with umbrellas are available, and you're welcome to bring your own food as well.

Can I buy more tulips than the 10 included?

Absolutely. Additional tulips are $1 each, so you can build a bigger bouquet if inspiration strikes.

Are there any special Mother's Day activities?

The festival often hosts special events during Mother's Day weekend, including flower pressing workshops, yoga sessions, and live music. Check the TASC website for the latest schedule of activities.

What's the best time to see peak blooms?

Mother's Day weekend typically falls during the second or third week of the festival, which is prime time for vibrant colours and unique late-blooming varieties. The farm plants early, mid, and late-blooming tulips, so there's always something spectacular to see.

Do they accept credit cards?

Yes, credit cards and Apple Pay are accepted. Cash is not accepted at the farm.
